Glass Wool Blanket

Glass wool blanket is quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and other natural ores as the main raw material, add soda ash, borax and other chemical auxiliaries, by more than 1500 ℃ high temperature melting, through the high-speed centrifugal or spray blowing process made of fibers, and then by the application of binder, curing molding and other processes made of flexible thermal insulation and sound insulation materials. Because of its fluffy texture, soft as a blanket, can be bent and folded at will, widely used in construction, industry and other fields.

Exterior walls: Fireproof Class A rock wool boards or foam cement boards (durable). Roof: XPS extruded boards (waterproof and pressure-resistant) or polyurethane spray (seamless insulation). Interior walls: Lightweight EPS boards or fiberglass wool (space-saving).

2.How are fire resistance ratings classified?

Class A: Non-combustible (e.g., rock wool, foam cement).

Class B1: Flame-retardant (e.g., fire-resistant EPS/PU).

For homes, at least Class B1 is recommended; public buildings require Class A.
